    This is a fabulous, but little known false arborvitae was brought from Japan to England in 1861...finally to your garden. The compact 2' x 2' mound in ten years resembles an arborvitae planted too close to the drive that has been backed over at least once a week. The flattened, but delicate light green branches form a tight mound... super for the rock garden... or beside the drive.
