    I fell in love with this midwest native last year. The central stem on this imposing prairie giant reaches 8'. The large green leaves surround the stem forming a cup at each leaf node. Each cup holds about a cup of water...great for wildlife during a summer drought. In late summer, the clumps are topped with large clusters of yellow daisies...a great structural plant for the border.
