This cool, easy to grow groundcover has 2" round, scallop edged leaves, each accented with a wonderful pattern of wide silver veins. The back side of these delightfully hairy leaves is blotched reddish purple. The plants are topped with 18" spikes of light, airy white flowers in late spring... simply charming! After flowering, red whiskers extend to 1' ...the tip of which soon transforms into a baby plant. Strawberry begonia prospers best in a moist woodland setting... or as a house plant hanging basket.
