This is the highly sought after form of S. minor that grows in and around the Okefenokee Swamp region of Florida. Under good growing conditions, this vigorous pitcher plant can reach 2-3' in height. The green-hooded pitchers with "white windows" in the back of the hood are identical to the species except for the size. The yellow flying-saucer-like flowers are much larger than the typical species and they are produced in midsummer rather than early spring.
