This South African native occurs on densely shaded rocky slopes, but adapts well to garden conditions. The shiny triangular leafed fern is used in corsages and arrangements...assuming you've all been on the receiving end of fresh flowers. This slowly spreading deciduous fern is a great addition to the woodland garden...ours has survived 0 degrees F with slight foliage burn.
