Ruellia 'Humility' is a 2022 Plant Delights/JLBG introduction of an amazing plant, found in 2013, by our taxonomist, Zac Hill, in southern Alabama. It is related to the more widespread forms of Ruellia humilis but differs in its much larger flowers and smooth leaves and stems. In cultivation, this new false petunia forms a 16" tall x 3' wide, deciduous clump, topped for us from mid-June through late summer with 1.5" wide rich lavender flowers. We hope you'll join us in growing and preserving this rare and exciting plant.
