Rohdea japonica 'Goin' Curlin' is a 2025 Plant Delights/JLBG introduction that came to us from the late Alan Galloway, who obtained it from Japan as an unnamed seedling of Rohdea 'Ohyodogawa' x 'Tancho'. In the garden, it forms a dwarf, slowly-offsetting specimen to only 4" tall x 15" wide, with wavy green leaves that randomly twist...at least, it seems random. The habit is similar to Rohdea 'Shishi', but with much wider 2" vs. 1" leaves. This is the kind of thing that appeals to folks who like horticultural oddities.
