Pyrrosia polydactyla 'Taipingshan' is our 2019 Plant Delights/JLBG introduction from our 2008 spore collections from Taipingshan (Ilan County), Taiwan at 6,500' elevation. The amazing Pyrrosia polydactyla is an epiphytic fern that we saw growing attached to rock walls and other structures, although for us, it also grows fine in regular garden soil as long as it doesn't stay too wet. Pyrrosia polydactyla 'Taipingshan' forms a stunning 1' tall x 1' clump of dark green five-fingered felty green leaves...at home in the ground where winter hardy or in a container or hanging basket in colder climates.
