According to the books, this is a rare and difficult to grow primrose...we disagree. In fact, it's the easiest primrose we grow, and we are glad to share. The round corrugated 3" wide un-primula-like leaves form a stoloniferous mat in our woodland garden. In late spring, the large bright pink flowers atop 6" stems hover just above the foliage. The growth is thick enough to make a mat capable of choking out unwanted weeds. You will absolutely adore this primrose.
