We should have warned you to duct tape your mouth shut to keep your tongue from falling out. Just when you think you've seen it all, here comes another horticultural breakthrough. This Terra Nova hybrid (probably Podophyllum difforme x P. delavayi x P. pleianthum) makes one amazing mayapple. Each 2' tall stalk is topped with a large, 18" wide, hexagonal, green leaf with a dazzling kaleidoscope pattern of silver surrounded by black. In late summer, the clump is adorned with clusters of large, wine-red flowers hanging just below the leaf. As "W" would say, Unforgetamazable!
