    Pimpinella is one of the best filler plants that we have grown. From the Caucusus to Asia, P. major can be found growing in rich, moist meadows and woodland edges. Arising in spring from the coarsely divided purple basal foliage are 3' tall stalks, ending with bright pink Queen Anne's lace-type flowers...quite striking!
