This medium-size, hardy selection of New Zealand flax makes an attractive, 4' wide clump of sword-like leaves of dark chocolate...a stunning vertical accent. This selection has been grown in our area for more than a quarter century. When the temperatures drop below 10 degrees F, the foliage will burn and require a spring haircut. Phormiums are prized for their garden value as well as for their use in annual color bowls.
