This under-publicized 1970's introduction from Ohio's Springbrook Nursery is a truly unique phlox...a hybrid between the North American species P. paniculata (upright) and P. stolonifera (spreading). Anyone who has grown this fabulous hybrid agrees that it offers the best traits of both parents. This very easy-to-grow and slowly-spreading phlox produces 18" stalks, smothered with lavender-pink flowers in late spring. In 5 years, expect a 3' wide mat.
