Phlox paniculata 'Robert Poore' is a new mildew-resistant, triploid selection of our native Phlox paniculata, named after Mississippi landscape architect, Robert Poore. In the powdery mildew trials (yes, they have such), Phlox 'Robert Poore' consistently comes out at or near the top for mildew resistance. The giant 5-6' tall clumps are topped in July with giant flower heads of red-purple (RHS 74A). If you're into gaudy colors and wild combinations, then this is the phlox for you!
