I like my plants a little on the tacky side... if this is your garden theme, then I've got a phlox for you! B. 'Becky Towe' is a breathtaking sport of P. 'Windsor' with wide golden edged foliage that changes to more of a creamy gold at flowering time. In late summer this vigorous 2' tall mildew-resistant clumper is topped with heads of large sweetly scented flourescent cherry-red flowers with darker centers (RHS 58D/66B). P. 'Becky Towe' was discovered in 1990 by UK plantswoman June Towe and named after her dog... I've never seen a variegated dog.
