This deciduous perennial phlomis has large, arrow-shaped, felty leaves of gray-green that form an attractive clump to 18" wide. In late spring, the clumps give rise to 40" stalks interspersed every few inches with flower heads resembling battered, yellow golf balls...a great bold textured perennial.
