    P. longifolia is similar in habit to P. fruticosa, making a small sub shrub to 3' wide in our garden...possibly larger when very happy. The 2" long textured green leaves clothe the upright stems that give rise to the whorls of bright yellow flowers in spring and early summer...spectacular!
