(aka: Phanerophlebia umbonata A1M-051) Phanerophlebia umbonata 'Puerto Purificacion' is a 2004 Plant Delights Nursery introduction from our 1994 expedition to Mexico, where we gathered fern spores at 1900' elevation near Puerto Purificacion (Tamaulipas state). The Mexican holly fern forms a 1' tall x 2' wide evergreen specimen, composed of 1' long olive green leaves.
