Pennisetum 'Lemon Squeeze' is the second yellow-foliaged clone of fountain grass to hit the market, this from the work of plantsman Brent Horvath. This amazingly vigorous selection forms 3.5' tall x 4.5' wide clumps of brilliant golden foliage. Clumps of Pennisetum 'Lemon Squeeze' are topped, starting for us in early August, with a plethora of tan spikes that sit well above the foliage. All fountain grasses flower much better if divided every few years, and full sun is needed for good foliage coloration.
