    In our search for a good blue foliage grass that likes heat, we found this California native that has proven to be a winner (survived 3 degrees F here with no damage). The tight clumps of blue green foliage reach 3' tall x 6' wide. In mid summer, the plumes, which resemble Calamagrostis acutiflora, reach 60"... we love this grass!
