    This introduction from Illinois' Jim Van Hoorn is a seedling of Panicum 'Shenandoah' with blue-green stems and leaves that change early in the season to bright red. The clumps are topped with airy panicles of rosy red, starting in late summer. We are just trialing this, so we only have a few extras to share at this time. Panicum 'Red Sunset' has proven to be quite sturdy through the winter in trials in the midwestern trials.
