One of the highlights of our late spring and summer garden is the clumping iron cross shamrock. The four large, shamrock-like leaves on each stem have inner corners of dark purple that are held tightly together to form a purple cross. From June to September, the 10" tall x 10" wide clumps are topped with 12" flower stalks with lovely, peachy pink flowers...a great conversation piece in a container or in the garden where it is hardy.
