Notocactus x subluteus is a 2024 Plant Delights/JLBG introduction of a superb hybrid between the yellow-flowered Notocactus submammulosus var. turecekianus and the pink Notocactus roseoluteus, made by our former JLBG volunteer Mike Papay. The amazing Notocactus x subluteus forms large, fast-growing solitary rosettes to 6" tall x 10" wide, topped, starting for us in late May with large, soft pastel peach colored flowers...truly exquisite and very easy to grow in a dry, well-drained, full sun rock garden.
