This rarely-sold West Texas & Mexican native makes a fantastic specimen, that looks like an upside down green porcupine. The pliable green leaves, carefully frayed at the tips, form a rosette that can reach 8' in width. This native to hot, dry, rocky sites can easily tolerate the same abuse from a typical homeowner. In late spring, once the clumps mature, they are topped with 6' tall panicles of tiny white flowers.
