xMangave 'Thunderbird' is a new agave x manfreda hybrid that forms a small 8" tall x 12" wide clump, with leaf spotting so dense the foliage appears solidly reddish-violet...quite dramatic! 'Thunderbird' consists of two parts manfreda and one part Agave marmorata...shaken thoroughly and stirred. Unlike agaves, xmangaves don't die after flowering.
