xMangave 'Permanent Wave' is an amazing Walters Gardens creation...a hybrid with Agave ovatifolia, Agave colorata, and a dose of Manfreda maculosa. The effect is a very fast-growing, very silver, Agave ovatifolia-like plant that matures around 18" tall x 3' wide. Unlike Agave ovatifolia, xMangave 'Permanent Wave' doesn't die after flowering. Our garden plants came through 11 degrees F in great shape.
