xMangave 'Break of Dawn' is a 2025 Plant Delights/JLBG introduction of an amazing Hans Hansen creation, that arose as a sport of xMangave 'Desert Dawn'. This small/medium-sized creation forms a 9" tall x 17" wide clump with narrow, glaucous leaves, surrounded by a dramatic purple border. Because of the parentage of Agave macroacantha and Agave nizandensis, it doesn't have great winter hardiness, so grow this dazzler as a house plant or summer patio specimen in cold winter climates.
