(aka: Lycoris x elsiae) Lycoris x straminea 'Yellow Streamers' is a 2020 Plant Delights/JLBG introduction of our selection of a cross between Lycoris chinensis and Lycoris radiata var. pumila. The 22" cinnamon stalks, emerge for us in mid-August, topped first with medium yellow buds that open to a cluster of 6-7 light yellow, very frilly flowers. The contrast between the stem and flower color is delightful. For us, Lycoris 'Yellow Streamers' starts flowering at least a week later than Lycoris 'Tie a Yellow Ribbon', and with petals that are both narrower and much more frilled.
