Lycoris x straminea 'Fawn' is a highly coveted hybrid of Lycoris radiata var. pumila x chinensis 'Sperryi' from the late Sam Caldwell that's been virtually unavailable for the last 50+ years, which we hope to finally solve. Lycoris 'Fawn' starts flowering for us in late August/early September with 18" tall stalks of spidery flowers that open yellow with a golden throat, and age to peach with an orange throat...a fascinating color change in a matter of days. The winter growing foliage emerges in early October.
