    From Japan, comes another hybrid surprise lily for the late summer garden. From seemingly out of nowhere, these 2' fleshy stalks emerge, each topped with a giant airy display of salmon pink spidery petals, highlighted with even longer whisker-like anthers. After flowering, the nearly flat small evergreen foliage emerges and remains green until spring. Surprise lilies are great tucked around the garden for a burst of color as fall arrives.
