Lycoris x rosea 'Ueki' is a vigorous Japanese hybrid of Lycoris sprengeri and Lycoris radiata v. pumila, whose giant 28" tall stalks emerge for us in mid-August, each topped with 6-8 intense rosy red flowers, tipped with an attractive blue-lavender tip...truly stunning! The leaves emerge in fall and persists all winter.
