Plant Delights is pleased to introduce for the first time, a new hybrid from lycoris breeder Phil Adams that we've named Lycoris 'Red Sprite'. Lycoris 'Red Sprite' originated from a cross of Lycoris radiata pumila x Lycoris x haywardii, backcrossed on Lycoris x haywardii. In surprise lily breeding lingo, it's a ra-hay x hay. For us Lycoris 'Red Sprite' puts on a dazzling show, starting in mid-August (NC). Our supplies are very limited, and once these are gone it will take years before we have enough to offer them again.
