Lycoris 'Hazuki Elegance', from the Komoriya breeding program in Japan, is a cross of the spring-leaf Lycoris sprengeri and the fall-leaf Lycoris radiata. For us, the 22" tall spikes emerge in late July, each topped with up to six rich, rosy-pink flowers, with dramatic blue tips to each petal. After flowering, the foliage emerges in mid-October and grows all winter.
