Lycoris x rosea 'Berry Awesome' is a 2020 Plant Delights/JLBG introduction of a Phil Adams hybrid that we've had on trial since 2013. The Lycoris x rosea season runs from mid-July to late-August, depending on the clone, and Lycoris 'Berry Awesome' generally starts for us around the 2nd week in August, so it's just past mid-season in the Lycoris x rosea flowering period. The dense clusters of flowers that top 22" stalks usually emerge pure pink, then quickly take on lovely blue tips. The foliage usually emerges in late October (NC).
