This 1987 Thurman Maness release is another in a line of great L. cardinalis x L. siphilitica hybrids. L. 'La Fresco' sports flowers of "dusty muted plum" to borrow a line from Thurman. The flowers begin in mid summer and continue for 1-2 months.
