Stop the presses, hold the phone...Houston...we have a winner! When this new Thurman Maness cotton candy-pink cardinal flower came into flower, we were speechless. The dramatic nature of the flower color-break from past introductions far exceeded our expectations! The flat rosette expands during summer, to be topped in late summer and early fall with a 2' tall flower spike of large, light pink-lavender flowers (RHS 75C). Designers are going to have a field day with this new color!
