    Emerging from a winter rosette, these quarter-sized silvery leaves with a green border are smothered with hooded pink flowers beginning in mid-spring and continuing for several months. Lamium makes a spectacular groundcover for a large woodland area. Lamium is best used where the soil never gets bone dry.
