Juniperus virginiana 'Silver Spear' is a 2014 JC Raulston Arboretum introduction of a Mark Weathington discovery of a lovely, narrow, spear-shaped selection of our native red cedar. Our 10 year-old specimen is now 18' tall x 2' wide. Due to the difficulty of propagation, this splendid selection is almost impossible to find.
