    This is one of our favorite members of this wonderful genus of pea family plants. Although native to riverbanks in lowlands in Japan and China, we have this low growing gem featured in our dry rock garden for great effect. The miniature foliage clothes the arching stems along with the miniature pink wisteria like clusters of flowers which adorn the plant from July through September . Our 6 year old plants are only 4-6" tall and have spread to 24".
