We are thrilled to finally be able to offer one of the rarest of the hepatica species...an endemic only to Ullung Island, east of Korea. I was fortunate to climb to the top of the island in 1997, to see these magnificent specimens growing in dense shade under tree-size camellias. When mature, each clump can reach 1' in width with glossy olive-green leaves w/purple undersides. In spring, the giant clumps, which emerge covered with silvery-white hair, are topped with small lavender-pink flowers..but the best feature here is the tropical looking foliage!
