This is a limited collector edition offering of a Tom Mitchell seed collection of Helleborus purpurascens from just east of Teliu, Romania. The spikes of greenish purple flowers emerge in spring, just prior to the new foliage. If you're expecting the color of a purple selection of Helleborus x hybridus, this isn't the plant for you.
