Hamamelis 'Little Prospect' is one of those truly special rare woody plants that manages to creep into our catalog on occasion. This new variegated native North American witch hazel comes from Robert Wilkinson of Walnut Hill Farms Nursery, who discovered this amazing sport in their nursery. The brightly edged yellow foliage adorns the branches throughout the growing season, followed by the lightly fragrant yellow flowers that adorn the branches in fall, usually between Halloween and Thanksgiving. Trials have shown no foliar burning even in full sun in the hot southeastern US. Be the first in your area to grow this variegated native gem.
