This delightful gesneriad (African Violet cousin) from Lyndon Lyon has proved to be completely winter hardy in our trials. The fuzzy, green leaves are held horizontally on 1' tall upright stalks. Starting in early September, the top of the stalks are adorned with fuzzy, bright scarlet-red, tubular flowers with a white-speckled throat, held outright on 2" stalks. Our 3-year-old clumps are 2' wide.
