This Eucomis comosa hybrid comes from Eddie Welsh, a US-born eucomis breeder, now living in New Zealand. E. 'Innocence', which was developed for the cut flower market, has the same fleshy green basal leaves and a summer-borne brownish flower spike, to 20" tall, covered in light pink flowers in midsummer.
