This native sundew is found in moist bogs from Maryland south to Florida and west to Texas. The tiny, paddle-like, hairy leaves are covered with drops of goo, which trap insects that try to use it for a landing pad. This giant form is a whopping 2" across...remember that size is a relative thing. In summer, the clumps are topped with thin spikes holding small pink flowers. While they are winter-hardy in most of the SE US, sundews are so bloody small that you will probably lose them in the garden, so pots and terrariums of peatmoss/sand are recommended.
