This easy-to-grow southwest US native yucca relative is the hardiest of the sotols. Our collection is grown from seed that we collected from a spectacular specimen on Highway 16 in the Texas Hill country, just east of Bandera, Texas (Zone 7). Each 4' wide clump of spiraling, long-toothed, green leaves makes a stunning architectural accent in the dry garden. When mature, expect dramatic 10' tall flower scapes in summer, resembling a giant broomstick...very impressive!
