I recall first seeing this plant in the wild in Korea and thinking that it looked just like a liriope. It has long been cultivated in both Korea and Japan as a highly prized potted specimen. We are delighted to finally offer nursery-propagated plants for gardeners in the US. The stiff, narrow green leaves make a small clump, topped in spring with 10" spikes of miniature yellow-green cymbidium orchid flowers. The acidic soil must be well-drained, so the addition of a gravel-like material is recommended.
