    This cool pine cone ginger has large, tropical looking leaves (10" long x 6" wide). The foliage grows out of a short underground rhizome, making an upward growing small clump. The flowers that resemble purple pine cones are formed in the middle of the clump from mid through late summer... wonderful! Finally, enough to share.
