We are pleased to share the amazing, but virtually unknown Cryptomeria 'Champagne', a recent Camellia Forest Nursery introduction of a dwarf sport of Cryptomeria 'Knaptonensis', discovered years ago by David Parks at the defunct Yadkin Valley Nursery in North Carolina. For us, this amazing Japanese cedar selection has formed a compact 4' tall x 5' wide ball of foliage, all tipped in white. In full sun and no irrigation, our plant has thrived.
