This Wim Snoeijer hybrid is the result of a cross between C 'Purpureostriata' and the popular C. 'Alionushka'. The pendent, red-lavender bells are held in abundance from July-September along scrambling stems that extend to 5' long. I was particularly impressed when I first saw this plant on my 2004 trip to Holland...plant one near your favorite shrub for a summer floral boost.
